Aims: Designed to facilitate the transition of senior functional managers into business leaders, this programme equips you to become a highly effective general manager by developing five core capabilities: 1. leading people; 2. managing strategy and change; 3. evaluating and managing organisation performance; 4. creating and delivering customer value; 5. strategic decision making. Participants are supported through an eight month development process by tutors and a virtual learning environment upon their return to work.
Participants: [T / F] As an ADP participant you will be highly motivated, keen to learn and develop new skills. As an experienced functional or specialist manager you will typically already have gained 10 to 15 years’ relevant management experience. Crucially, you are just about to make, or have recently made, the transition into general management.
Duration: 4 weeks modular; module 1 = 2 weeks; inter modules = 6 – 10 weeks; module 2 = 2 weeks
Frequency: 3 times a year
