Aims: AVIRA is a unique opportunity for business leaders from around the world to put aside the urgent in order to consider the important. It gives them a forum for exploring and debating the current issues most prominent on their agenda. More concretely, AVIRA is designed to explore the five critical dimensions of the CEO’s role: Awareness, Vision, Imagination, Responsibility, and Action. This programme gives executives five days to take a close look at not just their business, but also their relationship with ‘stakeholders’, to explore responsibilities and to reflect on their personal life. It gives them a week to ask themselves those questions perhaps others rarely – or dare not – ask them, and that with the pressure of business, they may not often ask themselves.
Participants: [S/T] the programme is for a highly select group of top executives. Participants come from diverse backgrounds, cultures and sectors and hold such titles as: vice-president, managing director, COO, CEO and chairperson. They, like the contributors, are highly international and engaged.
